The Southeast Honor Roll is falling apart.

The Honor Roll lists the names of men and women who were residents of the Town of Southeast or the Village of Brewster at the time they entered the Armed Forces and served during times of conflict and war. Starting with the Revolutionary War it lists those who served through the Persian Gulf War and awaits the addition of names from our latest conflict.
Erected in 1996 by a group of local veterans and citizens, led by Tony Hay, the plywood panels and wooden posts have seen better days. The elements have taken their toll causing the wood to warp and rot.
Brewster VFW Post 672 and a group of concerned residents with the support of the Town of Southeast, have banded together to raise the funds needed to replace the Honor Roll. The goal is to construct a more stable, weather resistant memorial to honor those citizens from the town and village who answered our country’s call to serve.
School children are raising funds and contributions have been received from individuals and organizations. We are truly thankful for their generous support. However, We Still Need Your Help! Please send a contribution.
Make your check payable to: VFW Post 672 and make a notation on the check that it is for the "Southeast Honor Roll".
