HONOR ROLL FUND REACHES GOAL OF $50,000
On Tuesday April 5th the Putnam County Legislature, during their regular monthly session, presented a check in the amount of $6,000 to the Honor Roll committee. This check fulfilled the pledge made by the Legislature to match the combined amounts donated by the Town of Southeast and the Village of Brewster. It is the largest single donation made to the project.
On Thursday April 14th at the Town of Southeast, Town Board meeting the Honor Roll Committee received three checks. The checks, each in the amount of $5,000, will fulfill the pledges made by the presenters and will bring the total amount raised over the $50,000 goal. Those presenting checks to the Honor Roll Committee are Al Bergman of Supervised Lifestyles, Inc.; NYS Assemblyman Willis Stephens and the Town of Southeast.
